Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 . . Windhoek International Airport – Windhoek
  • Arrival Winhoek International airport and transfer to your Pension
  • Get-together of participants and tourguide
  • Overnight in a pension with breakfast

Day 2. . Windhoek - Grootfontein
  • Departure from Windhoek 07h00 in the morning
  • Through the Otjozondjupa Region to Grootfontein
  • Overnight on a guest farm with dinner and breakfast

Day 3. Grootfontein - Popa Falls
  • Visit to the Popa Falls
  • Gamedrive through the Mahangopark

Day 4 & 5 . . Popa Falls - Kwandofluss / Caprivi
  • Drive to the Kwando river
  • Gamedrive along the river banks and to the 'horseshoe-bend'

Day 6 . Kwando - Kasane
  • Visit to typical African market in Katima Mulilo
  • Cross border into Botswana
  • Sundowner on the mighty Chobe river

Day 7 & 8. . Kasane - Chobe National Park
  • Game drive along the Chobe and a 3-hour boatcruise
  • Optional: Day trip to the famous Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe

Day 9. Chobe - Savuti
  • Game drive all the way to Savuti
  • Here the spotted hyena, and the biggest pride of lion in numbers can be seen.

Day 10 - 12 . Savuti - Moremi
  • Extensive game drives through Mopani Forests at the edge of the swamps

Day 13. Moremi - Maun
  • Drive to Maun, capital of norther Botswana
  • Optional: 1 hour flight across the Okavango Delta

Day 14. Maun - Ghanzi
  • Drive through Ngamiland into the Kalahari
  • Optional: Bushman-dance and/or bush walk with real Kalahari Bushmen

Day 15. Ghanzi - Kalahari
  • Cross border back into Namibia
  • Overnight in a lodge with dinner and breakfast

Day 16. Kalahari - Windhoek
  • Drive to Windhoek, Arrival around 14h00
  • Overnight in a pension with breakfast

Day 17. Windhoek - Windhoek International Airport
  • Transfer back to the airport
