Kalahari - Okavango Delta - Moremi - Chobe - Victoria Falls

This safari goes through the dry bush savannah of the Kalahari all the way to the green landscape of the Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta is the only inland delta in the world. On a boat trip we will discover the fascinating ecosystem of the special water world and its mammals.

In Moremi, which is one of Botswana's most beautiful game parks due to its tropical vegetation, and in the Chobe National Park we will find elephant and buffalo herds as well as zebras, giraffes, hippos, lions, leopards and a variety of rare birds on daily game drives.

A day visit to the world-famous Victoria Falls is a very special excursion.

• Departure from Windhoek at 7h00 am, bordercrossing into Botswana, up to Ghanzi
• Opportunity to spend the night in a real bushman-hut.
• Optional: Bushman-dance and/or a bush walk with the real Kalahari Bushmen

• Through Ngamiland to Maun, the capital of Northern Botswana

• Proceed to Moremi Game Reserve
• Two full days of extensive game drives through Mopani Forests at the edge of the swamps.
• Optional: 1 hour flight across the Okavango Delta.

• Gamedrive along the Kwai River, to Savuti
• Here the spotted hyena, the biggest pride of lion in numbers at hunt, and also leopard can be seen.

• Extensive game drives in the Chobe National Park
• 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River - not be missed
• Optional: daytrip to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

• Exit Chobe National Park and drive to Kasane
• End of Safari

• Meeting around 12:00 in Kasane
• Sundowner at the Chobe river

• Game drive in the Chobe National park
• Day trip to Vic Falls (optional)

• Game drive in the Chobe National Park
• 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe.

• Drive to Savuti with game viewing

• Game drive along the Kwai river up to the Moremi National park
• 2 days spend with extensive game viewing inside the park

• Drive to Maun, capital of northern Botswana
• Optional: 1-hour scenic flight over the Delta

• Drive through the Kalahari to Ghanzi
• Opportunity to overnight in a real bushman hut
• Optional: Buschman dance and/or walk with Kalahari Sanbushmen

• Cross border into Namibia to a lodge on the edge of the Kalahari

• Drive back to Windhoek.
• End of Safari.
